ASUS has launched the TUF Gaming FX504, the first laptop of the TUF Gaming lineup, providing gamers with an affordable device that excels for its stability and durability.
ASUS’ new gaming laptop rocks a 15.6-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and anti-glare finish. It measures 384 x 262 x 251 mm and weighs 2.3 kg, which we expected for such a powerful gaming device, allowing you to carry it around easily.
The LED-backlit keyboard has been developed keeping durability in mind. It has a lifespan of 20 million key presses, twice the average, making the keyboard one of the most durable keyboards on the market. Additionally, it has Overstroke technology that offers earlier actuation and a longer over-stroke distance so you can be comfortable both when gaming and typing.
Inside the ASUS TUF Gaming FX504, we find an 8th-gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card with Microsoft DirectX 12 support. This configuration delivers an optimum performance both when gaming and performing demanding tasks.
To make sure that the temperature is adequate at any given moment, the cooling system has two copper heat pipes and a dual-fan system to cool the CPU and the graphics card independently, while the chassis design increases thermal efficiency by up to 27%. This ASUS gaming laptop uses HyperCool technology to expel dust and keep the laptop cool. The Fan Overboost function has three different modes to balance the fan performance and noise levels. A fan is located below the WASD key group to prevent the keyboard’s temperature from raising during long gaming sessions.
In terms of sound, we get the DTS Headphone:X system that provides a high-quality immersive 7.1-channel surround sound for an improved gaming experience. As for connectivity, the laptop has 802.11ac Wave 2, which delivers data transfer rates of up to 1.7 Gbps.
The price of the ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 starts at €1,099. The laptop is already available on the market in case you want to get one.
